The trailer focuses on the characters’ lives after moving up a grade, including their plans to recruit new members. It also introduces more scenes featuring first-year students Ema Mizunami and Mei Nakatsugawa, who join the established group for their next camping adventure. The announcement was published on November 6 via the official Laid-Back Camp website.
This latest promotional video features music clips from three artists. Asaka performs the opening theme song, “Brand New,” while Eri Sasaki returns with the closing theme “Happa no Tegami,” which translates to “Leaf Letter.” The band Kiminone performs “Tonari ni Ireba,” the series’ theme song.
The accompanying main visual brings together eight characters at a campsite, including Nadeshiko, Rin, Ema, and Mei. The presence of more new students suggests that their relationships with the returning characters will play an important role in the upcoming season.
