Instead of spending the premiere episode on a lengthy recap, this episode dives straight into a perilous battle in the Shadow World, where Desir, Pram, and Azest must face Esteban’s forces threatening Evernatten.
The second season officially premiered on October 7, 2026, in Japan on Fuji TV’s +Ultra programming block, with Crunchyroll streaming the new episodes internationally. Arvo Animation is once again adapting the series, with Taishi Kawaguchi serving as director.
This premiere episode also shows that Desir’s journey is becoming increasingly complicated. He already possesses knowledge of the future, but changing a single event does not guarantee that everything else will go according to plan.
The episode begins with Desir and his friends facing an immediate threat in the Shadow World. Their goal isn’t simply to defeat their enemies. Desir is trying to prevent the same catastrophic future he remembers, which means every decision has consequences beyond the current battle.
This makes Desir a compelling protagonist because his greatest strength isn’t just his magical power. His knowledge of what happened in the previous timeline allows him to anticipate dangers and make decisions that other characters cannot comprehend.
