Gachiakuta Game Reveals Official Title and First Gameplay Trailer, 2027 Release

TAME OTONITY – The upcoming Gachiakuta game has officially been titled GACHIAKUTA: BREAKOUT. Along with this announcement, the first gameplay trailer and a 2027 release date have also been revealed. The trailer was released on September 17, giving fans their first glimpse of the in-game action. Meanwhile, the anime adaptation recently shared the first teaser for the upcoming Season 2.
This announcement also confirms that players can now add the game to their wishlists on Steam and Xbox, and the game is confirmed to be available on PS5.
The game is based on the Gachiakuta manga by Kei Urana, featuring graffiti art by Hideyoshi Andou. Com2uS Group is serving as both the developer and publisher for this project. Here is the game’s description on Steam:

The anime’s first season aired for two consecutive cours, totaling 24 episodes, with BONES FILM handling the animation production. The series also became the most-watched anime on Crunchyroll in July 2025.
Plans for a mobile game and a stage play adaptation were previously announced alongside the announcement of the TV anime’s second season. The game was initially teased as a survival action RPG with the tentative title *Gachiakuta The Game*, which would “translate the anime’s unique setting and atmosphere into a game.”
