Players will be able to relive memorable moments from the animated series “MyGO!!!!!” and “Ave Mujica” from a perspective exclusive to the game, while discovering all-new stories that expand upon the universe of the animated series. At the same time, Mugendai MewType, millsage, and Ikka Dumb Rock! each make their narrative debuts through original chapters that explore their personalities, relationships, and respective musical journeys.
Follow the story of Kasumi Toyama, a cheerful high school student who nevertheless always feels like something is missing from her life. One day, she discovers a star-shaped guitar at an old pawn shop and feels the vibrations of the “Star Beat” she’s been searching for so long. From there, Kasumi sets her sights on forming an all-girl band called Poppin’Party with four of her classmates so they can perform on stage at the Live House SPACE.
The story unfolds, shedding light on the dynamics of the local music industry. Poppin'Party begins to interact and compete with other school bands such as Afterglow, Pastel＊Palettes, Roselia, and Hello, Happy World!, until a fierce rivalry emerges with the electronic rock band RAISE A SUILEN (RAS) to secure a spot in the BanG Dream! Girls Band Challenge tournament.
The story evolves into a darker, more realistic teen drama. The story centers on Tomori Takamatsu, who is traumatized by the sudden breakup of her former band (Crychic). When she starts high school, she meets Anon Chihaya, an ambitious new student who wants to form a band to look cool. Along with the other former members of Crychic—each of whom is still nursing their own wounded egos—they are forced to come together to form a new band called MyGO!!!!!.
This is a direct sequel to the story of Crychic’s breakup. The story focuses on Sakiko Togawa, the mastermind behind Crychic’s breakup, who forms a mysterious gothic metal band called Ave Mujica. It explores the fates of the band members, whose lives are intertwined through music, set against a darker, more psychological narrative.
This installment features the newest generation, focusing on the band Mugendai Mewtype. The synopsis follows the members as they are suddenly brought together to make their debut as a band. Although each possesses a unique personality and immense talent, they are completely unprepared to perform as a cohesive unit. They must struggle to overcome their differences in order to survive in the music industry.
