Attack on Titan Announces Two Theatrical Re-releases Alongside A Massive New Slate Of Events

And in 2027, the franchise’s cinematic finale, 『The Last Attack: 』, will receive the same premium-format treatment. More importantly, this marks the franchise’s first immersive ScreenX release featuring Eren’s apocalyptic conclusion, giving fans another reason to watch the finale on the largest screen yet.
And celebration goes far beyond the theater. The franchise also launched an exclusive YouTube channel for exclusive special features and limited-time anime streaming. Season 1 is currently airing every Wednesday, but live streaming is available only to Japanese viewers.
Meanwhile, manga fans are enjoying even greater benefits through Kodansha’s official Magapoke app, with the first 99 chapters of the series available to watch completely free for exactly 99 hours. If it’s a franchise centered on the number 9, then that can be said to be all that Attack on Titan can do.
Series creator Hajime Isayama took advantage of the anniversary atmosphere and released new commemorative illustrations of Eren and Levi for special occasions. But in the typical Isayama style, this work also contained a delightfully casual update to his personal life. The creator recently revealed that they have become deeply into romantic comedy manga, and this work is said to be the furthest removed from the misery of Attack on Titan.
The game division of the franchise is also preparing for a major release. Koei Tecmo’s highly anticipated Outlast of Titan 3 has revealed a new key visual for its intense final season design featuring Eren, Levi, Mikasa, and Amin.
