TAME OTONITY – Jakarta is gearing up to host a concert by renowned musician Kanye West—now known as Ye—at the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Main Stadium on Saturday, October 24, 2026. With just one day remaining, the promoter, Raw Vision Collective, is making final preparations to ensure the event runs smoothly.
During a press conference held in the SCBD area of South Jakarta on Thursday (October 22, 2026), Raw Vision Collective’s Marketing and Communications Lead, Karen Tjahja, revealed that her team will deploy more than 2,000 security personnel to maintain order in the concert area.
“Of course, on our end, there will be more than 2,000 security personnel stationed both along the ring road and inside the stadium,” said Karen.
This concert marks Ye’s debut performance in Indonesia and is the only stop on his official tour in Southeast Asia this year. Raw Vision Collective is also collaborating with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and the National Police Headquarters to ensure the event’s safety and smooth operation.
To support audience mobility, PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) announced an extension of train operating hours this weekend.
Mega Tarigan, Director of Operations and Maintenance at MRT Jakarta, explained that on the day of the concert, the MRT will operate from 3:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. WIB with 12-minute intervals, and from 4:00 a.m. to midnight WIB with 10-minute intervals. Specifically for Sunday, October 25, 2026, additional service will be available from 12:00 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. WIB with 14-minute intervals.
