Bandai Namco Cross and Gundam Base Stores at the Mall of America Open This Month
--
TAME OTONITY – Following a delay in September 2026 that postponed the debut of the Bandai Namco Cross Store and The Gundam Base in Minneapolis, Minnesota, at the Mall of America, new launch dates have been set for both locations.
Both stores will now open on October 30, 2026. The official announcement on social media did not mention whether there will be any special events or giveaways on opening day when both stores debut.
This means there is only about a one-month delay between the planned launch dates for both stores and their actual openings.
Bandai Namco did not explain the reason for the delay. They only confirmed that further announcements will be made leading up to the debut later this month.
As their names suggest, each store will have a different focus. The Bandai Namco Cross Store will sell merchandise related to anime series and games associated with Bandai Namco.
It will also carry items such as figures from Banpresto, MegaHouse, and Tamashii Nations. Meanwhile, the Gundam Base store will focus entirely on the Gundam series and offer items such as model kits, figures, and other related merchandise.
