Spoiler Nue’s Exorcist Chapter 167
The story centers on Gakuro Yajima, a high school student who is an outcast because of his supernatural ability to see spirits and supernatural beings called Gen'yo. Ever since his father was killed in an attack by a Gen'yo, Gakuro’s sole purpose in life has been to avoid these creatures and live peacefully as an ordinary student.
However, his fate takes a complete turn on his first day at North High School. Gakuro accidentally discovers and enters a mysterious, sealed room that no one else can see. Inside the room—which turns out to be filled with video games and manga—he meets Nue, an ancient female spirit with immense power who is deeply fond of human pop culture.
Nue offered a deal: she would train Gakuro to become a formidable fighter as long as he agreed to help her exterminate the evil spirits roaming the area and threatening their school. Although initially hesitant due to his past trauma, Gen’yo’s increasingly aggressive threats forced Gakuro to accept the offer and sign a contract with Nue.
This is where Gakuro’s adventure as a modern onmyoji (exorcist) begins—a journey in which he must balance his school life, face a rival clan of exorcists, and battle dark entities to protect those around him.
