Total Transformation: BTS and Singapore Prepare "THE CITY ARIRANG" Project, the Largest of Its Kind in Southeast Asia
--
TAME OTN - Exciting and astonishing news has arrived for South Korean pop music fans across the globe. The global mega-star group, BTS, has officially announced a massive-scale collaboration with the Singapore Tourism Board (STB).
Through a project titled "BTS THE CITY ARIRANG - SINGAPORE," the entire city-state of Singapore will be transformed into an immersive experience for fans for one full month, from December 1 to December 31, 2026. This initiative marks Singapore as the only stop in Southeast Asia and the final destination for this year’s global "THE CITY" project series.
The project is specifically designed to accompany BTS’s four-night concert series, part of their world tour, "BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG'." The concerts are scheduled to take place at Singapore’s National Stadium in mid-December 2026 and are reported to be completely sold out.
To delight the hundreds of thousands of fans expected to descend upon Singapore, the organizers have gone all out, incorporating the nation’s iconic landmarks to create an unforgettable urban festival atmosphere.
A key highlight of the project will be centered at Jewel Changi Airport. The famous indoor waterfall, the Rain Vortex, will serve as the stage for a grand music and light show, featuring arrangements of BTS’s hit songs.
Nearby, Universal Studios Singapore at Resorts World Sentosa will also participate, hosting a spectacular fireworks display precisely choreographed to the rhythm of the group’s popular tracks. Meanwhile, Sentosa Island will be converted into an outdoor entertainment hub, featuring rave parties, drone shows in the night sky, and themed fun runs.
