Spoiler The Day of Kidnapping
Kim Myeong-jun, a poor former judo athlete, desperately needs money to pay for his daughter’s leukemia surgery. In the midst of his despair, his manipulative ex-wife, Seo Hye-eun, suggests that he kidnap Choi Ro-hee, the daughter of a very wealthy hospital director.
The soft-hearted Myeong-jun was forced to agree. But as he was driving toward the target’s house, a little girl suddenly ran into the street and fainted after being grazed by his car. The girl turned out to be Ro-hee. When she woke up at Myeong-jun’s house, Ro-hee had complete amnesia. Panicked, Myeong-jun lied and claimed to be her biological father.
A major problem arises when Myeong-jun tries to call Ro-hee’s parents to demand a ransom, but they never answer. When he goes to their luxurious home, he is shocked to discover that Ro-hee’s parents have been brutally murdered.
Since his fingerprints and CCTV footage from the area linked him to the crime, Myeong-jun immediately became the most wanted man and was accused of both murder and kidnapping.
