Gundam Rogue Orbit Gameplay Trailer Showcases a Mission

Gundam: Rogue Orbit introduces an entirely new timeline in the Gundam universe called After Apocalypse (A.A.). With a post-apocalyptic theme, the game focuses on humanity’s struggle for survival against a mysterious, large-scale threat.
The story follows RE-X, an elite pilot who commands a new-generation Mobile Suit called the Gundam Helix. Amid a besieged space colony, RE-X and a crew of forgotten soldiers are assigned a crucial mission for the survival of humanity.
Throughout the journey, RE-X is accompanied by Vii, a Haro-shaped companion robot who becomes his loyal friend. They must battle a massive invasion of mysterious creatures known as The Apocalypse.
The game’s lore is set in the same universe as Sunrise’s latest anime project, *Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO*. The story in *Gundam: Rogue Orbit* is set 100 years after the events of the *XARX-ZERO* anime.
While the anime version tells the story of young pilot Ray Azumi’s early struggles with the XARX-0 Gundam Zero against the Apocalypse alien invasion on Earth, the game version depicts the remnants of humanity still fighting to survive in space a century later.
Although the game features deep narrative connections, Bandai Namco Entertainment ensures that the plot is designed to remain accessible and easy to follow for new players who haven’t followed the Gundam series before.
