Studio Bind Extends Production Schedule for Mushoku Tensei Season 3 Cour 2, One of the Most Anticipated Animes of 2027

The newly dropped teaser trailer heavily hints at the monumental clash awaiting the community: the highly anticipated, full-scale battle between Rudeus Greyrat and the indomitable Dragon God, Orsted, voiced by Kenjiro Tsuda.
Studio Bind’s strategic decision to extend the break between the two halves ensures that the grueling production schedules won't affect the quality of what is promised to be the most visually demanding action sequence in the history of the Isekai genre.
Season 3 began with Volume 14, for which Seven Seas describes the story:
Nanahoshi, Rudeus, and the rest of their group take a trip to Perugius’s mysterious floating fortress, seeking adventure and a once-in-a-lifetime chance to learn new magic. What they find instead is disaster as one of their number is struck down by a deadly illness. How far will Rudeus go to save a dear friend’s life?
The anime is based on a light novel by Rifujin na Magonote with Shirotaka’s illustrations. Seven Seas is publishing the light novel in English.
The series is also launching a game titled Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation – Chronicle of Echoes this year. It is a free-to-play game with in-app purchases developed by ASOBIMO.
