The global anime streaming giant Crunchyroll officially announced that the highly anticipated television anime adaptation of Overgeared (known in Japan as Tempal: Item no Chikara) will receive a coveted same-day English dub.
The first episode of the series made its global simulcast and simuldub debut on Sunday, September 27, 2026, satisfying global audiences who were eager to dive into the virtual reality world without a multi-week waiting period.
The anime adaptation is handled by the renowned animation studio J.C.STAFF under the careful direction of Ayako Kono, famed for her work on Sword Art Online The Movie - Progressive. Alongside the launch, Crunchyroll revealed the stellar English voice cast powering the production.
Prominent voice actor Ricco Fajardo takes the lead role as Grid (Shin Youngwoo), the down-on-his-luck protagonist who stumbles onto god-tier crafting abilities.
