The famous Japanese figure manufacturer Kaiyodo has announced the latest addition to its REVOLTECH line of articulated figures: the “Shiteyanyo” figure from the Hatsune Miku series! Priced at 4,400 JPY (including tax), it is scheduled for release in April 2027.
Shiteyanyo is a character derived from Hatsune Miku, created on February 2, 2010, by the artist Ryusei (Ryusei). Its unusual design features only Hatsune Miku’s head, with her famous pigtails transformed into gigantic legs. This image, which is both grotesque and hilarious, sparked a wave of fan art at the time featuring “hairy legs.” This craze grew even more intense when artist Deino launched the “Shiteyanyo Kakanai ka” project.
The “REVOLTECH Shiteyanyo” figure stands approximately 13 cm tall and faithfully reproduces the meme-worthy facial expressions of the artist Ryusei. Its “knees” (?) feature a double-jointed articulation, while its “toes” also have peg joints, allowing for a wide variety of poses.
Thanks to the included display stand, collectors can recreate a whole series of “sexy” (?) poses inspired by memes. Among the accessories is an alternate face with a sidelong glance, which perfectly captures the unrestrained style of the original artwork.
